HOLD THE FAITH
Mark Dyer a.k.a. Warrior King burst onto the reggae scene in summer of 2001 with two simultaneous hits “Virtuous Woman” and “Never Go Where Pagans Go” these songs are the foundation for his debut album “Virtuous Woman” (VP1648) which established Warrior King as an important new voice in reggae. Warrior King’s style is both youthful and wise. His vibrant lyrics over updated roots riddims are a combination that has distinguished Warrior King and captured fans in the US and abroad.
- First single is “Can’t Get Me Down” already a hit on Jamaican radio.
- Other notable tracks are “Every Day”, “Baby Girl” which features Warrior’s pop sensibility (supplied by the “Stick By Me” riddim) and “Education” targeted to the youth of Jamaica with a strong conscious messages.
